With his body and tail knit in the round and all in one piece, Pascal’s back and belly are shaped with simple wrap-and-turn short rows. A variation of a double decrease creates his bumpy spine with added intarsia striping detail.
After stuffing his body and rolling up and seaming his curly tail, stitches are picked up at the neckline to work his head flat in two pieces. I-cord is used to make his tail, legs, toes, and ridges around the eyes.
Once completed, the pieces are seamed together to form his mouth, and felt or safety eyes are added to finish him. Knit Pascal in his original green, or chose another color like purple to make him blend into his surroundings.
